Roodepoort Rugby Club kicks off celebrations with a swing
The Roodepoort Rugby Club is celebrating 75 years of existence this month and they kicked things off in style with a Golf Day.
The purpose of the event was not only to celebrate the club’s rich history but also to raise funds. Proceeds of the day will be injected directly into developing the club, employing top-quality coaches and getting the best equipment to train the players.
Former players and community members enjoyed the Shotgun Start and the Better Ball Scramble Drive format at the Ruimsig Country Club where the event was held.
There were plenty of games and raffles offering prizes on various tees. A prize-giving ceremony was hosted later in the day.
