Honest Florida cops refuse bribe during arrest

Suspects arrested in Robertville.

Florida CPF Sector 2 has lauded two Florida Police members for refusing a bribe when they were arresting suspects.

Yesterday (31 May) at about 8am, the two police officers were patrolling Robertville as part of their routine patrol around the precinct.

This area has been the target of criminals recently and has seen a spate of factory break-ins. It is also renowned for its illegal miners (zama-zamas).

The policemen noticed a suspicious vehicle and proceeded to conduct a routine stop and search of it.

An unlicensed firearm was found in the vehicle, and the suspects were arrested.

One of the suspects then tried to bribe the policemen. They refused the offer, and added a charge of attempted bribery to the charge for possession of an unlicensed firearm.
