At about 10.15am yesterday (30 May) two men robbed a courier van in Roodekrans.
The two armed suspects, driving a red VW Golf 6, forced the van off the road on Wilde Amandel Avenue and at gunpoint took the parcels from the van. In the ensuing chaos they allegedly fired at a civilian passer-by. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspects managed to flee.
