National Cheese Day

Enjoy some cheese on #NationalCheeseDay

4 June is observed annually as National Cheese Day, the perfect opportunity to try some new cheese flavours.

Cheese is produced from the pressed curds of milk that is usually produced by cows, buffalo, goats or sheep.

Temperature and ageing, as well as spices and other seasoning added during the cheese-making process, affect the flavour and texture of the cheese.

Cheese is an excellent snack on its own, but it is also a perfect ingredient in pasta, soups, soufflés and many other recipes.

There are many ways to celebrate today, starting with adding cheese to a sandwich, enjoying a pizza or trying a new cheese variant with fresh fruit.

Use #NationalCheeseDay to post on social media.
