CCTV footage of Florida accident emerges
Shocking CCTV footage of the accident that happened at the Gordon and Hendrik Potgieter Road intersection on 24 May, has emerged.
The head-on collision left one woman, believed to be in her 60s, critically injured. She had to be airlifted to hospital for further treatment.

The footage was posted on Facebook by Florida Community Policing Forum (CPF) Sector 1.
On the video, it can be seen how the one driver skipped the red traffic light and crashed into the woman’s vehicle (a purple Ford Ka). According to the post, the green arrow was indicating that the woman was allowed to turn.
“This highlights that drivers disregard the rules of the road and traffic signals,” the Facebook post read.
