A taxi driver is in a critical condition after having been involved in a collision with a bakkie on the corner of Hendrik Potgieter and Cascades Road during the morning of 28 May.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are not yet known, but the Jaws of Life had to be used to remove the driver from the taxi.

The man sustained multiple fractures and abdominal injuries and was airlifted by the ER24 OnePlan Medical Helicopter to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
No other injuries were reported.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
