Who can we turn to to address this issue?

Anonymous from Bergbron writes:

I want to express my concern regarding the speeding in Bergbron Drive, Bergbron and also the street, Megs Place, off Bergbron Drive.

The pedestrians walking from the Delarey School [down Bergbron Drive], mainly the Super Spar’s staff, have to walk in the road, as there is not much accessibility on the sidewalk. That no one has been knocked down is a miracle.

As I have observed, the speed of most of the drivers is horrific. Secondly the traffic lights at the Bergbron Drive and Gordon Road intersection need to be reset, as I have observed that the pedestrian crossing over Gordon Road does not give [people] enough time to cross.

It is nerve-wracking, as the vehicles drive at a high speed, and the 60km speed limit with camera is not adhered to. And no Metro Police in sight. Just this weekend of 20 May, a man was killed in Gordon Road, just off Bergbron Drive.

I have written on numerous times about this concerning observation.
