Between 1 and 4 May, 41 suspects were arrested during special operations conducted by the Roodepoort Police.
Suspects aged between 21 and 53 were arrested on the following charges – assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of suspected stolen goods, attempted theft, dealing in dagga, housebreaking and theft, drunken driving, common robbery, shoplifting, common assault, public drinking, malicious damage to property, possession of dagga, possession of drugs, rape, and crossing the railway line .
The suspects were charged and detained at the Roodepoort Police Station.
