Witpoortjie residents invited to join in clean up

Community initiative to clean up Proot Street

The councillor for Ward 71, René Benjamin, is inviting all Witpoortjie residents to join the Team up to clean up initiative.

This initiative aims to get all community members together, in an effort to clean up Proot Street on Saturday morning (6 May).

The proceedings will start at 9am on the corner of Proot Street and Trezona Avenue, and everyone who is willing to offer their assistance is welcome. “Participants should – if possible – bring along a spade, rake, petrol weedeater or lawnmower. If they are not able to bring any of the above, they must just bring themselves,” René said.
