Sexual pervert allegedly on the prowl
Record journalist confronted the man.
After a resident complained twice this morning (4 May) about a man exposing himself and masturbating in public, the Record decided to investigate, but could not find the man.
The first reports were that the man was engaging in this behaviour close to the corner of Trezona Avenue and George Ross Street. At about 11.55am the Record received a call about the man being back. The journalist riding his motorcycle caught the man in the act of masturbating and shouted at him. The man quickly pulled up the zip of his trousers, jumped into his bakkie and sped off. He skipped a red traffic light at Albertina Sisulu Road and drove in the direction of Krugersdorp.

The man seems to be in his late 40s, has dark hair with tinges of grey, and stubble. He is wearing black sunglasses, a black T-shirt and faded black jeans. He drives a white Toyota bakkie. His vehicle registration is known to the Record and will be passed on to the police and Metro Police.
Residents are asked to report it immediately should they spot him.
