If the teachers had not intervened in time, an incident at Princess Primary could have turned tragic for one of the learners.

According to principal John Sithi the incident took place after school just before 2pm today (30 March). A group of about seven boys, allegedly from Kagiso, confronted one of Princess Primary’s boys over a girlfriend. They started assaulting him and one of the attackers pulled out a panga. Teachers caught wind of what was playing out outside the school premises and manage to prevent the situation from escalating.

Roodepoort Police were called and charges were laid.
