Two of Maragon Primary Schools’ netball players have been selected for the provincial team. Christina Lambiris and Palesa Setsoale qualified for the U/13 and U/12 teams respectively. The duo’s journey has not been easy, having to stand head and shoulders above the rest.

Qualifications for the provincial team started with talented players being selected for the D12 team. From there, players had to set themselves apart from the rest with their skills in the JOMO (Johannesburg and Mogale) regional team. They then had to go all out and leave nothing behind as they did their best in the provincial trials to represent Gauteng.
