Many businesses fail because owners omit one crucial step in the nine-step programme they use to set the business up.
This is according to Daniel Miller, partner in one of the leading SaaS online e-commerce platforms and shopping carts in the United States. He is currently touring South Africa, providing free workshops aimed at empowering business owners and giving them insight into the nine-step programme. To date, workshops have been held in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry member and director of Atka SA, Leon Marinus, and business owner John Harris, partnered with Daniel during his visit.
According to Daniel the last workshop, to be held at Soli Deo Gloria Boutique Hotel on 3 April, is an intensive introduction to business online. “The structured nine-step process is explained,” Daniel said. “The biggest mistake business owners make is to omit one vital step. If you follow the programme properly, there is an 80 per cent chance of success.”
Daniel said you can use the programme to either expand your existing business or to make sure your business grows when you are just starting up. “It doesn’t matter what business you have, it can be a success.”
Leon said this process has been a year-and-a-half in the making. “Daniel and I met at the Internet Summit in 2015 and since there was a good synergy between us, we had a good talk, during which we decided to join hands and launch this workshop in Johannesburg and Cape Town. This is the ideal opportunity to take the concept and put is to use in your business. It is definitely not a quick grow-rich scheme, instead it creates a mobile lifestyle. And since it is not location-based, you build your business wherever you are. Not only is the workshop free, it is also the perfect place to network with other successful business owners.”
According to John, the digital world is changing at a rapid pace and with this programme it is going to take off like a rocketship. “Artificial intelligence is already a reality. This programme teaches you how to build a really strong online presence. If you are not prepared, your business will be overrun by others. If you do it now, your chances of success are even higher.”
The last workshop will be held from 9am on 3 April, at the Soli Deo Gloria Boutique Hotel in Randburg.
