Roodepoort woman and teenager go missing

Police urgently need information.

Two Roodepoort woman, aged 26 and 16, have gone missing during the past week.

26-year-old Queen Hlaliswa Velaphi went missing on 7 March. She is of a large build, has black hair and brown eyes and is squint. Her weight and height are not known. She is also mute. She was last seen at about 3.40pm on 7 March, by her mother in Matholesville. She was wearing a purple T-shirt and black tights.

16-year-old Primrose Nyasha Mataruse went missing on 3 March. She is of medium build, with brown eyes and a black Afro hairstyle. She weighs about 45kg and is 1,5m tall. She has a scar on her cheek. She was last seen by her mother in Horizon View at 5am on 3 March. She was wearing white shorts, a black top, a navy jersey and white takkies.

Anyone with information about either of these two women is asked to contact Warrant Officer Loods on 011 279 6532.
