Update: Petrol con men spotted in more locations

After the Record reported on Friday about two con men who pretend to have run out of petrol in order to get money from the public, readers have reported more locations where they have been spotted.

The other locations, over and above Mimosa Street, Golf Club Terrace and Generaal Pienaar Avenue include Mouton Road, Blueberry Road, Luipaard Street, Crous Street, Kingfisher Street, Robert Broom Drive and the corner of Ouklip and Wilgerood Roads.

The two men drive an old, battered VW Golf. The public is advised to not give them money.
