The residents from the Have A Heart Centre in Roodepoort desperately need your help.
Most of the centre’s residents are on chronic medication and need to fetch their medicines at state hospitals on a monthly basis. This is quite a difficult task, as the centre does not have the means to help them achieve this.
Marius Oelofse, the founder of the centre, is appealing to the community to assist them in obtaining a vehicle. “The vehicle is needed to transport the senior citizens to and from these hospitals to fetch their chronic medication,” he said. For many of these residents, this medication is a necessity, and they cannot stop taking it.
If there is someone who can assist, either by donating a vehicle or money towards buying one, please contact Marius on 082 952 7151.
