Intruder pulls pregnant woman’s rings off her fingers with his teeth
Robbers fled in a "small" vehicle.
A woman who is five months pregnant fell prey to armed robbers yesterday afternoon.
The incident took place at about 1pm on Adam Tas Street. The woman was lying on a couch in her home when she heard something at her gate. As she turned around, she saw three intruders standing behind her. They told her to “shut up or we will kill you”.
A minor scuffle ensued during which one of the suspects pulled her wedding rings off her fingers with his teeth. They then forced her into a cupboard and fled in a small vehicle.
The woman climbed through the bathroom window and called for help, to which West Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch responded.
