Learners get fulfilling farewell

The school recently hosted its prize-giving ceremony and Morgan de Jager was named the Dux Scholar.

Senior learners from Maragon Private Schools Primary School who excelled academically this year have been rewarded for their hard work.

The school recently hosted its prize-giving ceremony and Morgan de Jager was named the Dux Scholar. Morgan then shared the Espirit de Corps with fellow learner Crystal Willis, while the Spirit of Kindness went to Kyle Kumst.

In Grade 4, Steven Crocker was the top academic achiever and Charney Bean, Nienke Jansen van Vuuren and Morgan were the top academic achievers in Grade 5, 6 and 7 respectively.

Learners in Grade 7 who excelled in their subjects were also rewarded with trophies. In Information Technology, Ryan Cherry and Daegan Bateman were awarded while Roberta Mashitisho received a trophy in Literacy. The English trophy went to Cameron Day while Mia Earle-Robertson took trophies in Life Orientation, Social Sciences and Technology. The Art subject trophy was awarded to Crystal Willis, the EMS trophy to Jaden Dreyer and the Natural Sciences trophy went to Jordan Bresler. Amy Wright took trophies in Mathematics and Afrikaans.
