It was a learning opportunity as gymnasts from Visions Gymnastics represented South Africa and competed at the Olympic Hopes Cup in the Czech Republic. The competition had top gymnasts from various countries such as Canada, Great Britain, Australia, Hungary and Poland participating.
In the Women’s All Round division, 16-year-old Gabriela Murray managed a sterling 27th spot, raking in a score of 12,800 on Vault, 9,850 on parallel bars, 10,700 on the balance beam and 12,550 on floor for a total score of 45,900.
Clubmate Tamsyn Bessit finished the competition in position 34 with a 12,050 score on vault, 8,450 on parallel bars, 11,900 on balance beam and a score of 10,850 on floor for a total of 43,250.
