Minor injuries were suffered after a 8-ton truck crashed into a vehicle in Davidsonville last night (5 December).
The truck was at the traffic lights on the corner of Progress Road and Nick Toomey Boulevard when it allegedly lost power and started rolling backwards.
According to Frik van Zyl, from the Western Suburbs Neighbourhood Watch, the truck rolled backwards into a vehicle parked behind it and continued to hurtle towards the barriers.
Emergency Services were called onto the scene and treated both drivers for minor injuries. It is unclear what caused the incident.
