If you are plagued by frequent power outages, like I am, then I am appealing to you to contact me in an endeavour to form a group of ‘disgruntled’ residents/ taxpayers to try and put an end to this recurring problem.
Why is it that we in Wilro Park, and at times the Helderkruin area as well, are affected by constant power cuts? This seems to happen almost every week! This week alone, we were without electricity for 17 hours!
Last week, the power was out for about two-and-a-half hours, and 10 days before that, out again for about the same period of time. A little more than a month ago, we were in the dark for almost two whole days. Yet, other areas (like Horison) are not affected.
I know we are on different grids, but this is nothing short of ridiculous. I have gone as far as contacting the DA representative for our area, but nothing really came of that effort.
