Residents can prepare themselves for a wet and stormy week.

According to weather expert Kobus Botha thunderstorms will be the order of the day for the whole of next week. Your forecast is as follows:

• Sun: 13° – 24°
• Mon: 14° – 25°
• Tue: 13° – 18°
• Wed: 13° – 21°
• Thu: 12° – 25°

According to Wayne Venter of the South African Weather Service, Roodepoort received 44,8mm of rain yesterday.
