National Do Something Nice Day
Stop for a moment and do something nice on #DoSomethingNiceDay
“Real generosity is doing something nice for someone who will never find out.” — Frank A Clark
5 October is National Do Something Nice Day, a day serving as a reminder to us all to take a break from our hectic schedules and fast-paced lifestyles, and do something nice.
It would be an ideal world if we all lived our lives by doing nice things daily without having to think about it.
To celebrate today, just do something nice. It can be anything, from buying a cup of coffee for someone in the queue at the coffee shop, complimenting the tired cashier, sending flowers and a card to someone ‘just because’, inviting your neighbours for a braai to mowing someone’s lawn.
All these things and more should not only be done on this one day – we should strive daily towards being nice to one another.
