Cansa fundraiser

Join the fight against cancer

You are invited to bring your canine four-legged friend and join the fight against cancer.

The Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) Westrand is hosting a Bark For Life Relay walk on 29 October.

It will be held at Florida Park High School, where registration will start at 7am. The walk will begin at 8am. The entrance fee is R150 per dog and human, and each entrant will receive a gift pack and a toy for the dog.

This campaign will be held in conjunction with the SPCA and aims to raise awareness for cancer survivors and to acknowledge the four-legged survivors of abuse or neglect.

Both humans and dogs are invited to participate in the relay walk to celebrate the survivor spirit found in all of us to fight against cancer, prejudice, abandonment, neglect and fear.

The SAPS Dog Unit will be joining in the day’s events and there will be food and goodie stalls, giveaways and competitions.

Come show your support for all survivors and join in the fun!
