National Girlfriends Day

Get together with your girlfriends on #NationalGirlfriendsDay

“Friend is a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection.”

National Girlfriends Day is observed on 1 August annually, as girlfriends get together and celebrate their special bond of friendship.

This day was created by the social networking site, www.sisterwoman.com.

Girlfriends are the ones who is always there for you and can be your daughters, mothers, sisters, cousins, lifelong friends, high school friends and co-workers. They are the ones with whom you spend most of your time, share your secrets, go shopping, get a pedicure or drink a glass of wine. They are your girlfriends who will always be there for you and you for them.

To celebrate go out for lunch or a drink with a girlfriend today. Make sure they know how special they are and how much they mean to you.
