British American Tobacco (BAT) cigarette van Hijacked

A British American Tobacco (BAT) cigarette van was hijacked at 09:50am this morning on General Pienaar just outside of Spar.

Two armed suspects driving a white BMW pushed the BAT van and fedility support vehicle off the road. The security officers’ firearms were taken by the suspects and fled the scene in the van and BMW.

Earlier this week, another BAT van was hijacked Witpoortjie Pick n Pay parking lot.
