Update: Pelser to appear in court today

Marthinus Pelser, 22, who was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the death of his six-month-old baby, will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court today (17 June).
BREAKING NEWS: Marthinus Pelser arrested
It is uncertain in which court he will appear, but it is believed it will either be in Court F or Court U.
Pelser’s baby boy was found dead in his cot last Saturday evening (11 June). The baby allegedly suffered a fractured skull, burn wounds and was bloodied. Pelser fled with his wife’s vehicle before she could ask him what had happened.
A tip-off by a resident led to the arrest of a dishevelled Pelser.
