Why is it taking so long?

I refer to my e-mail dd 04/05/2016, as well as my e-mail to the ombudsman on 11/05/2016, to which I have not even received acknowledgements of receipt from the City of Joburg or councillor Gert Niemand.

Kindly at least acknowledge receipt of the mails, and at the same time give me some assurance that my services will not be discontinued until the whole situation has been resolved, even if it takes ten years!

Mr. Niemand, you have previously tried to assist me with this matter, but it does seem that the matter is not important enough for the DA to get involved in, as well anymore. I get the impression that service delivery and sorting out of day to day (simple issues), is unimportant to all, as long as as every person having a stake in the future of our country, is only interested in their own well-being and enrichment. In the case of the DA, I sincerely hope this is not the view of Mr. Maimane and the opposition he claims to lead!

I might sound like an old groutch, but I cannot understand why an issue like this cannot be fixed within a week, or at most, two weeks.
