Volunteers cleanup Fleurhof Primary

Cleaning up Fleurhof Primary School's premises for a healthier environment for the children.

The volunteers of the Fleurhof branch of the ANC organized a clean up campaign at Fleurhof Primary School.

This initiative started last week Thursday (28 January) at the school’s sports field which is used which is to be the venue for the inter-house athletics.

“The campaign cleanest to clean –up is all good to go. We take pride in our children and their cleanliness and safe environment. The school requires serious intervention and we took it upon ourselves to do something. On Saturday we had 28 volunteers who participated in our campaign and looking forward to see the number increasing,” said Guguleth Khumalo, the deputy secretary of the Fleurhof branch.

The volunteers managed to clean up a portion of the school from the sports field but they still need more volunteers to clean up the whole premises. Their intention is to maintain the cleanliness of the school premises on regular basis.

“We expect everybody to participate enthusiastically in this community endeavor to make our beloved school the priority for the future of our children,” said Khumalo.
