Home Run Derby a success
Famiyl fun day a success for the baseball clubs heading into the new season.
The family fun day hosted at Cecil Payne Stadium was a resounding success. The event was hosted by the Dragons and Cobras Baseball Clubs.
The day started off with a game of t-ball between The Panorama Panthers and Little Wings.
The match entertained all and the children had a chance to participate in the game they love.
“We would like to thank everyone who participated and took part in the event for the day. We had just over 10 variety stalls whose main aim was to support the children,” said the club’s Riegaana Wing.
The main event for the day was the baseball home run derby for the juniors and seniors.
“Araka Gourmet was one of our biggest stall supporters. We would also like to thank our sponsors for the fantastic prizes such as Fabulicious Moments and Belleza Perfecta who sponsored the his and hers Spar treatment. Stylistic for the vouchers for hair makeover,” she said.
