Western Rackets produce Gauteng’s elite
The best of the best racquet squash players.
Western Rackets Squash Club’s Devon Hendrikse was named the top Gauteng League Player of the Year.
This was announced at the Gauteng Squash league’s annual awards ceremony held recently.
Hendrikse is South Africa’s fifth ranked player and was in the finals of the West Rand Squash tournament which took place at Western Rackets Squash Club to celebrate its refurbishment.
Hendrikse and his team which consists of fellow players Nico Mulder, Rudolph Coetser and Xander Robinson were awarded for finishing in second place in the Men’s 1st league.
All teams from Western Rackets which participate in the league finished in the top halve of their respective sections.
