Adopt a Clawbie
Meet and greet pets that will be up for adoption at Claw's night market.
Adopt a Clawbie from Community Led Animal Welfare (Claw) next month at their Night market on 6 November.
The night market will take place at the Little Falls Shopping Centre from 3pm until 9pm and those who will attend can look forward to a meet and greet the pets.
“We will only bring a small amount of our dogs on the day that are up for adoption. There will also be wine-tasting, live music and a beauty contest for dogs,” said Jennifer Gerner, Claw Veterinary Nurse.
All proceeds will go to Claw and they will also sell Claw T-shirts and hats and accept donations on that day.
Adoption fees are R600 which includes vaccination and sterilisation of the dog. A home visit and application forms need to be done before adopting can take place.
All successful adoption applicants will receive a free goodie bag courtesy of Pet Wise (pet food and accessories distributor).
Barney, a three-year-old Bassett hound mix cattle dog who has been waiting at Claw for almost a year for a forever home and will be up for adoption on that day.
