Dark Saturday night for parts of Roodepoort

A planned power interruption will mean parts of Roodepoort will have their Saturday night plans cut short.

This coming Saturday (26 September) parts of Allen’s Nek, Panorama and Weltevreden Park will be without power from 10pm onwards.

City Power organised this planned power interruption to do essential maintenance work on the network, it said in a press statement.

“It is part of our program of constantly striving to provide better service,” the statement read.

The interruption is scheduled to take place between 10pm and 6am on Sunday morning 27 September.

“As the supply may be restored at any time, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times,” the statement read.

The utility said they regret any inconvenience that may be caused but hope to stick to schedule.
