The funny side of the Boks losing
Somebody get Victor Matfield his walking stick please?

Springok fans around the world can be forgiven for still looking downcast unless they happen to be a one Peter de Villiers who is no doubt basking in the misery.
After the results of this weekend, many believe the Rugby World Cup for South Africa is all but over.
With Samoa and Scotland still to play, teams that are by far better than Japan who beat the Bokke 34-32, it’s no surprise the nation is skeptical.
The men in green and gold will have to play out their socks to ensure a quarter final berth.
Players such as Jean de Villiers, Victor Matfield and Fourie du Preez have to be retired from the team so youngsters such as Willie le Roux and Damian de Allende, who are in form and are the future of the team to get plenty of game time.
These old fogies cannot and should not even be in the team unless as support staff.
No matter how hungry and desperate the Japanese team was this weekend, they should not have been able to beat a team with such an array of talent and top class experience as the Springboks but it happened.

It would have been easy for Japan’s coach Eddie Jones, who was part of the 2007 springbok team that triumphed in France to figure out how Heyneke Meyer thinks.
The team has been playing the same way that it was in that year while the rest of the world has moved on to more expansive and exciting kind of rugby.
Where did you watch the game this weekend and what are your thoughts on how the team played?
Do you still support the Springboks and do you think they can still go through to the next round?
