I would like to comment on the letter in the Roodepoort Record on the 21 August. Why are you blaming the school for not looking after your kids till you feel like fetching them from school? You most probably earn a fat salary and can’t bother to arrange transport for your kids to get home after school where they are safe and warm. The school and staff of Laerskool Horison have their own children to look after and their own responsibilities and can’t cater to your every cry.
Did you contact the school and told them your going to fetch your children late? Did you contact one of your children’s friends parents asking them to drop your children at home as “foreseen circumstances forbid you to do it yourself? No you did not. You left them there in the cold and in danger.
Maybe you should take responsibility of your kids and do your job as a parent and not expect other people to look after your kids till you leave work or wherever you were that night.
Anything could of happened to your kids and it seems like you don’t care. All you seem to care about is your ego.
