Although we are made to respect their formal stature, presidents also make hilarious mistakes.
National Presidential Joke Day is dedicated to all presidents and former presidents who have made hiccups during speeches.
The day was invented on 11 August 1984 when former President of the United States of America, Ronald Reagan, while running for re-election made a joke to radio technicians.
He said, “My fellow Americans, I’m pleased to tell you today that I’ve signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We are bombing in five minutes.”
