Chocolate chips make any baked treat extra delicious because after all, it is chocolate.
Whether you desire muffins, cake, cookies or brownies you can never go wrong with adding a few chocolate chips.
National Chocolate Chip Day was created in the 1930s by Ruth Graves Wakefield.
Dating back to history, Ruth chopped up chocolate pieces to add to her cookies after she ran out of chocolate. She then discovered when she made the cookies the chocolate did not melt and after serving it to her guests, she realised it was a hit.
So create your own ‘hit’ and spoil your family tonight by baking something chocolaty.
