Video and Photos: Police tragedy on Ontdekkers

Video and photo material have surfaced of the accident scene where two policemen passed away on Tuesday morning on Ontdekkers Road.
A speeding, allegedly drunk driver slammed into the back of a police vehicle with three police officers inside. The passenger in the back died instantly while a second perished after not being able to escape the burning vehicle.
The second passenger managed to crawl from the vehicle but is in a serious condition in Milpark Hospital after being airlifted from the scene.
As yet the Roodepoort Police have not commented on the accident and the identities of the deceased are still not known. It is uncertain if and when a memorial service will be held.
