This is why we get sick

I’ve just recently recovered from a terrible bout of stomach flu, which the doctor informed me is an epidemic at the moment, and is it any wonder with the amount of raw sewage that is flowing in our streets.

In the last month I have seen raw sewage running down Crous Road, Ruhamah, and just this morning, CR Swart, and that’s just in my neighbourhood!

There was raw sewage running from two man holes into the Kloofendal Nature Reserve’s dam recently. Why is there no maintenance being done, what are our local municipalities doing, what is Joburg Water doing, sitting on their hands, waiting for their monthly cheques?
