Where is the police?

As a child I grew up with the police that’s a force to serve and protect.

A hero that enforces law to all citizens but today it’s a myth, only a ghost hero. On Sunday morning about 6am there was a male walking only in his underwear and a gun in his hand on Naboom Street. He looked unwell in many ways.

I phoned the Wilro Park sector police but only heard a voice mail (not the first time – previously my fiancé was shot at at Wilrogate centre and we contacted the name Roodepoort record gave the detail of warrant officer – van Deventer told me we shouldn’t bother him he also has a family, he laughed and said well they missed so no need to worry.

We are still waiting for the police to arrive to take our statement.) for the safety of

people that may be facing a dangerous situation. So I phoned Dowry security they send someone out immediately – seems that they are the superheroes today!

It’s sad to think that private security companies like Dowry are the only ones concerned enough about our safety as citizens. Once again thank you Dowry! I personally think the police just don’t care anymore that they want their salary at the end of the month and know that other people are doing their work. I can’t remember when last did I saw a police vehicle patrolling the streets…..
