Hijacking Update: Shooter to be investigated
Cases opened against hijackers.
The motorist who shot and killed two hijackers on Ontdekkers Road last Friday is not going to be charged – for now.
According to Roodepoort Police spokesperson Nonhlanhla Kumahlo, the motorist has not made a statement yet, and once he has and they know the exact details, they will investigate and decide whether to charge him or not.
She said cases of hijacking and attempted murder has been opened against the remaining hijackers who are still on the run.
