Man stabbed by taxi driver

A man sustained a wound to his arm after he was stabbed by a taxi driver today.

This comes after the man’s car was pushed off the road by the taxi. He raced after the taxi to get the driver to pullover but this resulted in a collision.

The angry taxi driver got out of his vehicle and after a brief altercation, stabbed the man in the arm.

The incident took place on Hendrik Potgieter Road near Clearwater Mall. QRS Emergency Services were immediately on scene and treated the man.

He refused to be transported to a hospital until police arrived and gave his statement.
