Future Stars aim high
The team is currently in the top four in the league. They aim to win and go onto play in the Castle League.
Future Stars FC currently plays in the Promotional League which is part of the Joburg West Local Football Association.
The team currently has 23 players with the view to register more during the season.
The team has not lost a single match this season thanks to the abilities of player-coach David Peetja.
He has been part of the team since its inception almost four years ago, becoming an integral part of the team after they started playing in the Promotional League.
The majority of players in the team come from Fleurhof and the team is based at Cecil Payne Sports Stadium.
But recently the team has been moved to Riverleigh where they play their home games.This is due to their inability to pay the stadium fees.The youngest players in the team is 16 years old and the oldest is 36 years.
