Update: Metro bus shooting
Florida police are currently investigating the incident.
The passenger who was shot during the Metro bus robbery yesterday morning has been discharged from Helen Joseph Hospital.
The Metro bus driver, who was shot in the abdomen and transported to Flora Clinic is out of surgery but still in critical condition.
The two were shot this yesterday morning when five suspects entered the bus near Mollie Road and opened fire.
Florida police are currently investigating the incident.
Spokesperson Captain Lydia Dikolomela said no suspects have been arrested but investigations are ongoing.
“We have not arrested any suspects as of yet but we are working hard on the case, we are also working on identikits of the suspects which will be ready by next week,” she said.
