The State of the Nation Address (SONA) descended into chaos and anarchy

What started out as an affair of pomp soon went south when President Jacob Zuma started his address. Within minutes members of the DA started interupting Zuma followed by members of EFF.

The Speaker at the end of her wits ordered the police to remove Julius Malema and his following which outraged the DA so much that DA Parliamentary leader Musi Mmaine soon led the DA contingent out.

The event was marred by audio problems, blackouts and ironcally a water shortage.

Social media was ablaze with critical and often humoures comments.
