A young girl was rushed to hospital after a car crashed through the doors of Witpoortjie Spar on Friday afternoon.
The driver had gone to the Spar to get a few groceries and pick up some medication when she accidentally stepped on the petrol pedal instead of the brake and hit the child.
The driver refused to get out of the car because she was waiting for the police. According to the driver, the father of the child opened the car doors and slapped the lady twice out of anger.
