Update: Body actually found in Krugersdorp West

A body that was previously reported to have been found in Weltevreden Park was actually found in Krugersdorp West.

This according to Johannesburg Forensic Pathology Services, on whose behalf an informant said that confusion slipped in regarding the areas Weltevreden Park and Wentworth Park. It was later discovered that the body was actually found in Moorcroft Avenue in Krugersdorp West.

Family identified the corpse as that of Ivan du Plessis. Pathologists said that it is likely that Du Plessis drowned as he was found in the family’s swimming pool earlier this week.
