The suspects have been apprehended thanks to the quick response of the Western Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch (WSRNW) and the Saps K9 Unit.
The suspects, that were injured in the crash, were taken to Leratong Hospital by Netcare 911 and Emer-G-Med paramedics.
Paramedics tended to wounds on the hijacking victim’s head after he was hit with a weapon.
The weapon has since been recovered.
