Eskom has announced today that they will be forced to apply load shedding again.
Reasons that has been cited are problems with water levels at water management plants at the Drakensberg and Palmiet pump storage facilities as well as technical faults at other power stations.
Stage one will allow for up to 1 000MW of the national load to be shed. It will continue until 8pm tonight but might be extended over the weekend.
The same schedules published before on Eskom and City Power’s websites, still apply.
