A man died after members of the community allegedly set him alight.
According to Roodepoort Police spokesperson Nonhlanhla Khumalo police was called out to Leratong Village in Vlakfontein. They were met by the grisly sight of a man’s badly burnt body. Next to him was a fridge, a side cutter and a monkey wrench as well as a blue-and-grey sports bag.
It is believed that the man was the victim of mob justice after he allegedly had stolen the fridge.
No arrests have been made.
